Fall Farewell

I know that there is still almost a month left of fall, but it is hard to hang onto this thought when there is a chill in the air and Christmas everywhere. Once more I only managed to do half of my fall to do wish list with apple pie, high tea and cheap/fun things to do with friends eluding me. This seems to suggest I should stop making to do lists and just roll with it. I think I might take this on board for winter by embracing both spontaneity and a few well made plans. This is especially a good idea seeing as I am trying to take my foot off the pedal for a few weeks to catch my breath and remember what it is like to not have so many plans. At the present time I cannot think of anything I must do this winter, but I have no doubt that this will change as the season arrives. I must mention that fall has been kind to the city with the weather, it might be chilly here, but the rain has been pretty non-existent. I know it won't last, but I will just need to remember how kind Mother Nature was when this happens.
