Musical musings for February

My birthday month is coming to a close with only a few days left of February. It has been a fun filled month, which I hope is just a sign of things to come for the rest of 2013. As we have inched closer to March I have been getting really excited for the concert I will be attending next Saturday, that of Maroon 5. One of the things I do love about living in Vancouver is that an array of music artists and acts, both big and small, come here to perform. What is even better is the price of the cheapest tickets because honestly I am not sure if there is one act that I would want to pay the big bucks to see. In anticipation of this upcoming concert as well as the one I have in April, I used the iTunes 'complete my album' feature for both Maroon 5 and Marianas Trench's latest albums. This meant that quite a few songs made their way cheaply into my iTunes library. Rounding out my musical musings for this month were the following two songs:

1. Ho Hey - The Lumineers
2. When I Was Your Man - Bruno Mars

Seeing as concerts had a strong influence on my purchases in February, I will sign off by mentioning that I really hope to get tickets tomorrow for the Justin Timberlake / Jay-Z concert in July.
