Musical musings for September

With only one full day left of September, I bring you this month's musical musings. This month saw my iTunes library grow by a cool dozen catchy tunes. Carrie Underwood, whose concert I am going to this coming Thursday dominated the purchases with four songs. Listening to her music gets me more and more excited for the concert. The only other multiple song artist was Carly Rae Jepsen, who contributed two. The return of Glee, a few weeks ago, meant that it wouldn't be long before another of their cover songs would be snapped up and of course it wasn't long at all. The rest of the list is made up of a nice combination of old favourites and emerging artists, who have made it into the charts:
